It’s been a very busy summer for TPF! As one of the New Orleans representatives of the Jrue & Lauren Holiday Social Impact Fund’s 3rd Cohort, we’ve been going through extensive and rigorous growth as an organization. That includes personnel, but that announcement will likely be in next month’s newsletter. 
Speaking of August, it’s National Black Philanthropy Month! #BlackAugust is an annual global celebration of African descent giving created by Dr. Jackie Bouvier Copeland and the Pan-African Women’s Philanthropy Network (PAWPNET). It serves as an invitation to all African diasporic communities and their allies to reflect on and promote the power of giving to make a change. Read through to learn how TPF is participating in our first Black August!
