This Holiday Season, We’re Thankful for You! The Thurman Perry Foundation November Newsletter

We hope that the holidays are bringing you all the love and cheer you deserve!

We have a lot to be thankful for this year and the most important thing is our community. In September, we announced a devastating loss of funding that sent us reeling. We had nowhere else to turn but to our TPF squad, and we are so grateful to say that you showed up for us!

Since that announcement, we have received nearly 75% of the funding we lost in donations from individuals, businesses, and organizational groups. We are going into 2025 filled with gratitude for your unwavering support. Truly, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

We could not do what we do without you!

As an organization lead and run by women impacted by incarceration, we are no strangers to adversity. In the coming years, there will be a lot of adversity to face. What we can say is that we are not backing down. The Thurman Perry Foundation is committed to continuing the very necessary work of creating a path for the women and girls we serve. They need us. We need you. Our TPF community is what makes the difference in our organization’s success. As we look forward to 2025 and beyond, we are endlessly grateful for your choice to support us. We don’t take it for granted.

We stand together and we are ready to fight.

P.S. The 5th cycle of The Perry ‘Second Chances’ Scholarship, which has awarded $100,000 in scholarship funding to women and girls impacted by incarceration around the US, is NOW OPEN. To learn more about the scholarship and apply, please go to: Https://theperryscholarship.org
