PSCS OPENS NEXT MONTH! The Thurman Perry Foundation October Newsletter

We’re so grateful for the support we receive from our TPF community! As we get ready to open the FIFTH cycle of The Perry ‘Second Chances’ Scholarship, which has awarded $100,000 in scholarship funding to women and girls impacted by incarceration around the US, we know that we couldn’t achieve that without the help of our grantors, individual and corporate donors, and all of you who keep TPF going. We’ve achieved another milestone with our Mother’s Day 365 program, that you all helped us relaunch, which has awarded $20,000 in mortgage and rental payment assistance to system-impacted moms in 17 states. Thank you!

We could not do what we do without you!

When we started this organization three years ago, we set a goal to help at least 10,000 women and girls impacted by incarceration around the United States by 2030. As of 2024, we have crossed that number. Over 10,000 women and girls around the US benefit from the work done at TPF. That is something beyond our wildest dreams. The incredible things that we have accomplished would not be possible without all that you have done for us.

Thank you for making a difference.

    Sincerely,

    Gabrielle A. Perry, MPH
