LaFHAC Fit For A King Summit 2022
TPF Founder and Executive Director, Gabrielle Perry, MPH, was invited to speak and offer insights on how housing access is crucial for women impacted by incarceration at the 2022 Fit For A King Housing Summit hosted by the Louisiana Fair Housing Action Center! The theme was “Meeting the Moment: Fair Housing in a Time of Crisis and Possibility” (GP can be seen beginning at marker 1:55).
The event was held Friday, January 28, 2022 from 9am-12:30pm CST. In addition to a keynote address by award-winning author Sheryll Cashin, three incredible panels featuring housing justice leaders from New Orleans and around the country were held to discuss the need for necessary change.
