The Thurman Perry Foundation was featured on NBC Local 33 News on Internation Women’s Day for announcing our partnership with Aunt Flow, an organic menstrual product manufacturing company, that will be donating 10s of thousands of menstrual products for distribution to incarcerated women and girls through our Girl Code program (TM pending).

“These women are navigating systems that are designed to work against them and giving them the resources that they need is not only charitable, it’s not a generous thing to do, but it’s public safety…I just felt after everything I’ve lived through, homelessness, hunger, being formally incarcerated, being on the other side is just really necessary for me to reach back and give back to the women I kind of left behind,” – Gabrielle A. Perry, MPH, TPF Executive Director
