Gambit Magazine in new Orleans highlighted The Thurman Perry Foundation’s groundbreaking new partnership with the FIT Clinic Initiative to reduce the financial burden recently incarcerated women face in accessing dental care.

“The Thurman Perry Foundation, a nonprofit that helps women and girls who are impacted by incarceration, July 31 announced a new $5,000 grant program to begin funding a program to help recently incarcerated women with dental care. The program is being run in partnership with the likeminded FIT Clinic Initiative, whose mission is to improve health outcomes for formerly incarcerated people.”
