WOW. That’s all we can say. We asked you, our TPF community, to show up for us and you did! We raised over $60,000 last month for #BlackAugust. That’s going to change A LOT of lives for women and girls impacted by incarceration.
We have a lot of announcements this month. The Thurman Perry Foundation has been hard at work administering our programs and preparing for everything that we’re going to do in 2023. Check out the newsletter below to find out all that we’ve been achieving over the last month, including preparing to give our 100,000th Girl Code donation!
We could not do what we do without you!
It’s hard to express how much we appreciate your support as a young organization hungry to make a difference. We have managed to achieve so much in a little over a year because of your time, energy, and generous donations.
And we’re just getting started. 2023 will see our largest class of winners of The Perry ‘Second Chances’ Scholarship. We will be giving away at least another 100,000 free high quality organic menstrual products to incarcerated women and girls and expanding the number of facilities we serve. We will also be running more cycles of our Mother’s Day 365 Housing Relief Program.
