Is There a Minimum Amount?

While there is no minimum that can be delivered to TPF, we will only provide in-person pick up for donations of 1000 count menstrual products or more. I.E. 28 packages of 36 count L. Brand Pads or 50 packages of 20 count HoneyPot Pads.

Are There Any Product Condition or Quality Requirements?

All donations must be unopened and in their original manufacturing packaging. Donations must have been purchased within the last 12 months. Boxes must not have significant wear and tear. Only organic sanitary pads from the previously mentioned brands are accepted.

What Kinds of Products Do You Accept?

TPF has a commitment to only donating healthy menstrual products to incarcerated women that we would use ourselves. We do not accept all brands because of the use of bleaches, dyes, and chemicals. Products sent to TPF must be organic and from any of the brands mentioned above.

Is There a Maximum Amount?

There is no maximum amount that you can send, but if sending more than 5000 count menstrual products, please send an email to info@thurmanperryfoundation.org before mailing any and all donations so that we can ensure proper inventory space and alert our correctional facility partners of the imminent donation for the same reason.

Can I Donate Tampons, Cups, Reusable Pads, or Period Underwear?

No. Unfortunately due to varied regulations and protocols at correctional facilities, these items may be considered a security threat, confiscated as contraband, or it may be difficult for the recipient to ensure the standard of care to maintain their quality. We can only accept organic one-time use pads at this time.
